Dr. Wenke Feng is a professor at Tulane University School of Medicine whose research explores the role of the gut microbiome in systemic and neurological disease. His work spans gutliver and gutbrain interactions, with particular focus on inflammation, metabolic disease, and neurodegeneration. With over 250 publications and continuous NIH funding, he is a leading voice in developing microbiome-based strategiesincluding diet and probioticsto influence brain health and disease progression.
