Meredith Sharpe, MA, MT-BC, NMT, is a Neurologic Music Therapist with 15 years experience, working with a variety of populations. As the owner of Sharpe Notes Music Therapy, LLC, she has contracted with various clinics and schools and has provided in-home services throughout the New Orleans area. Her current work focuses on helping adults with neurological disorders at Ochsners Neuroscience Institute, where she has been for the past 3.5 years developing a new music therapy program for neurology patients. Meredith has also enjoyed other professional endeavors, serving as a panelist on Preservation Halls webinar series, supervising music therapy interns, and teaching as an adjunct professor at Loyola University New Orleans. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree from Loyola University New Orleans, completed her Master of Arts in Music Therapy from New York University, and trained with The Academy of Neurologic Music Therapy to become a Neurologic Music Therapist.
